Before pursuing her counseling degree, Jenn worked for many years in the medical field. Serving in Emergency Medicine and the NICU allowed her to sit with people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. She believes being invited into another’s story is a true honor. She operates from a trauma-informed and hope-focused lens. Jenn uses a warm, relational, holistic, and collaborative approach.
She is passionate about maternal mental health and holds additional training through Postpartum Support International. She uses evidence-based principles from attachment science and emotion-focused therapy.
Originally from North Carolina, she is still discovering all the amazing eateries in Kansas City! She enjoys spending free time with her family and friends, kayaking, finding a great cup of coffee, and exercising.
