I am passionate about helping individuals discover their voice and grow into the best versions of themselves within their family system. I am especially passionate about supporting women as they navigate their unique life experiences. I work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents navigating a wide range of life challenges. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and grounded in attachment theory, with a holistic focus that integrates emotional, physiological, spiritual, and cognitive well-being. I use a variety of techniques, all grounded in theory and supported by empirical research. As an EMDR-trained clinician, I help clients process and organize traumatic experiences, drawing on evidence-based techniques to foster healing and resilience.
Before I became a counselor, I worked as a Special Education teacher for 12 years. During that time, I focused on supporting academic progress, though I often saw how mental health challenges and family dynamics affected students’ ability to succeed. After earning my Master of Arts in Counseling from a CACREP-accredited program, I spent five years working in a community mental health center, where I gained valuable experience with diverse and complex cases.
My goal as a counselor is to provide evidence-based, client-centered care that fosters resilience, meaningful change, and lasting well-being. I believe in the strength and resilience within every person, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they discover hope, healing, and renewed purpose.
